My Joint sponsor did not meet income requirement for last year because of a dependent but can i use their spouse's income also? as they are a household?

Also does immigration lawyers help with joint sponsorship if one don't have any?

As long as the embassy allows use of co-sponsors and the combined income will suffice counting all of the dependents, than you should be fine.

No immigration lawyers don't help with co-sponsors.

Your joint sponsor would file an I-864. The joint sponsor's spouse would file an I-864a as a household member. You can only combine their income if the spouse signs the I-864a as a household member.

An immigration lawyer is not going to help you with a joint sponsor. No stranger is going to commit to supporting an immigrant they don't know. You have to find your own joint sponsor who is willing to put his/her financial neck out for you.

Should i collect and combine W2's from both spouse? they didn't file jointly, they got married this year.

Does the spouse provide information Joint Sponsor has to provide too? like birth certificate and the rest?

Do not combine anything. These are separate filings. The joint sponsor files the I-864 with his information. The joint sponsor's spouse as the household member files the I-864a and her information. Do not combine the W2s.

Yes, the household member needs to provide all those things. Read the instructions for Form I-864a.

No. They will list their current address on the forms.
