OMG!! I have to laugh because I thought I was the only one this happened to. we have our interview on Nov 23 and they are saying we aren't in the system also (in DR) but the visa specialists said not to worry because they see everything and we're in there (and I called at least ten times). They said just to go to the interview because we have the letter.

I was sent packet 4 to my home address and he still hasn't received his....so I scanned and emailed him everything. I would just get the information from either this website or the embassy website as to the instructions because I checked and they are the same. Its basically just a list of To Do's.....and the interview letter.

But dont worry.....they may never have the info in their system....they are 6 weeks behind I finally found out.

Try calling the SDO embassy number 809 220 3232 or email them to: sdonivinf@state.gov ask to pick up a duplicate. Usually it has to be 2 weeks from your interview date in order to get another one.

I know Sam but I need the letter for the medical..ughhh I haven't received nothing either!

No. there is no medical letter really. It just says to go like 2 weeks before and how much the costs are. There's no specific letter. The letter to bring is the interview letter....you received that right? If not, I'd call the visa specialists and see if they can send you a copy or something. I was surprised I received it..I didn't know they sent it to us here in the states. You know the mail in DR is RIDICULOUS!!! lol

NVC should have the date as well as the visa specialists. Call either one for that date.....but dont rely on that stupid 877 # because they never have any answers and all you do is waste money every time.
