So we were able to pass the papers for my AOS and EAD. Unfortunately, my husband just got laid off from work. Now, I dunno what to do with like the Affidavit of support during the interview date for the AOS. Thoughts please? I'm seriously lost here. :(

Is your husband eligible for Unemployment insurance?

Unemployment Income is an employment related income like Workmen's Compensation and may be listed as income on the I-134. Also pensions and Disability or SSDI can be listed.

I would keep researching or consult with a professional but the above is true.

Hope this gets a clearer answer.

I would recommend to start looking and getting a co-sponsor.

Where are you located?

Maybe someone here knows a local company that is hiring NOW....

I know if you're in my area my employer is always hiring and the starting pay is decent even with no prior experience.
