This is a letter I wrote to my husband while we were struggling to get a tourist visa to meet in person for the very first time...a year and a half ago..thought I would share to lift some spirits :)

Today, is the day you were brought into this world..the day my angel came to be, the best day of my life..my feelings for you are full of love and affection, something I never thought I would find as I had given up on love altogether.. you gave me the best gift of life..the gift of the most precious thing a girl could dream of. Your love lifts me up everyday and the thought of spending my life with you pushes me forward letting me look forward to what lies ahead; Wayne, my partner, my love and my best friend..you are a wonderful amazing man, you my sweet angel are the most kind, generous, thoughtful and beautiful human being I have ever met..you are selfless, compassionate, loving, caring..I never dreamed of finding a person like you to love me..you love me perfectly, you give my life meaning and make me happy. I am truly the lucky one to have you in my life. I promise to love, cherish and hold you in my heart forever..nothing will tear us apart..our journey is a long and hard one, but in the end when we're together, we will look back on these days and know it was all worth it..I will fight for you, protect you, be your shoulder and your rock, you can count on me always and no matter what it is, together we can overcome anything..it's you and me against the world baby..I give you my love, my trust, my life, and myself. No man in this world can ever take your place..You are and always will be my one and only.

I will make it to you soon.

I love you with all my heart and soul Wayne. You are the love of my life
