My parents are currently visiting my sister in Boston with 6 months B-2 visa. My sister is not an US citizen but I am. I want to apply Green Card for my parents and I have some questions,

1. Is it true that if I apply Green Card for my parents, they can stay in the USA even after their 6 months visa expires?

2. When I fill out the forms, should I use my address or my sister's address? I live in Portland, Oregon and my parents are in Boston with my sister. I hope they can do all the things (e.g. Health check, finger printing, etc.) in Boston and don't have to fly to Portland when things come up.

Thanks a lot,

Tom

Yes. They're granted a period of authorized stay while their adjustment of status is being adjudicated.

Give the address where they're currently residing. They don't have to be residing with you in order to adjust status. They should be able to interview at a USCIS field office in Boston.
