Hello everyone,

My fiance had her interview on October 4th @ 0800. The consular officer congratulated her and gave a maroon color token. The CO kept her passport and said that she could collect it from AMEX in approx 14 days. I know it has not been 14 days yet, just curious and wondering does it take the full 2 week time frame or should she attempt to contact AMEX to verify arrival of passport from the consulate. She was not given any other documentation other than a congratulations and token.

Thank you,

S

That's super awesome that your fiance was approved and it will only be a two week wait at most. Having never been through that experience yet, my first thought is that if it only takes her two weeks to get her Visa in hand then you should count your blessings! :) If it is shorter than that timeframe then that should be cause for celebration and dancing! :)

Good Luck and Congrats again! :)

Best,

Kim

I spoke with her this morning, and she was out and about doing shopping for clothes. As soon as she gets the call from AMEX, the next call will be to me with the news.... I plan to visit and pick her up myself, then the marriage certificate and ceremony afterwards will be conducted.

Did your fiancee get a call from AMEX? If yes, when was that?

Thanks,
