We sent the I-130 application on August 1st, We sent the I-130 application on August 1st, but we still haven't received any response from USCIS.

Its been almost 3month and we don't even have the receipt #...

Im trying to call USCIS almost everyday and all they say is our case is under review ...

I think its taking longer than normal due to my husbands (USC) identity theft case 2years ago... Im not sure

How long is "under review " going to be ??

And is there any ways to make it shorter ... ?

I need at least receipt # to apply K-3 visa but I feel like i have to wait forever ... !!

Any response would be helpful...

You should've get the NOA-1 it would have nothing to do with your husband case. I would try to get a hold of them. Did they cash the check?

Non-receipt of NOA1 (acknowledgement) is not a big issue. Did you get your CIS case number when you talked to USCIS? Be patinet and you will get the approval (NOA2).

I am not sure why you want go the K-3 route, if gets closed once the I-130 is approved and gives you no big advantage. A few Consulates may get K-3 visa interviews quickly then CR1 visas but it is not significant. Also after K-3 visa, you will need to do adjustment of status, which costs around 1000 more.
