Been calling NVC automated messages to get my nvc case number.

Then realised today that maybe the USCIS case number is different in NOA1 and NOA2?

I haven't received my NOA2 hardcopy, only the email from USCIS telling we are approved.

Hardcopy still on snail mail...

So am I giving the NVC automated message system the wrong USCIS case number as I'm using my NOA1 number????

:bonk:

Don't worry about it. they're the same number.

If you just received your NOA2, be patient: it takes about a month to get your case #.

And instead of listening to the AVR, talk to an operator to ask about your case number, starting a week after you've received your hardcopy...and call EVERY single day.

Hang in there, the longest wait is over.

Allegra+Hadrien, Merci beacoup! And relief, thought I got the wrong number!

Yeah, not really expecting nvc case number to be ready anytime soon but got to check if we would, against all crazy odds, be lucky..

And if we are not so lucky and wait, wait and wait...like with NOA2, then...well, at least we tried to be optimistic.

Never know! (F)

togetherforever13, thanks so much! We received the email only last Wednesday/Thursday night, 6th of October, so it's only been a week...

I'm in the same boat with you! I got my NOA2 approved sept 27, supposedly they received my case oct2 or 3 sometimes they change up the date! I always speak with an operator and always 10-20 business days  so now I had someone tell me don't call every day that might cause them to push your case aside due to that the beneficiary is from Mexico and might make it look suspicious due to the problems Mexico is having  ....Mexico has been having the same problems for like years!!!!
