Hi Everyone.

I need the community's help. I am working myself into a panic and I would greatly appreciate some input.

The Situation: I am a Canadian citizen married to a USC (7 years)who is a legal resident of Canada. We live in Canada.

We have 2 children from my previous marriage, ages 18 and 20.

We had always planned on returning to the US as a family and this week my wife (USC) has accepted a postion in the USA.

Until recently, since finding this site in fact, we had beleived that the 20 y/o could return with us as long as his paperwork was submitted before he turned 21 y/o.

Basically that the "clock" stopped once paperwork filed and it didn't matter if final interviews or acceptance etc. occured after he turned 21 (may 2012).

Now I am not sure and cannot find an answer anywhere and I have worked myself into a panic. Can someone please clarify for me?

To sum up my question is: For the 20 y/o....must he have completer his visa process before he turns 21 or am i worrying over nothing and as long as he has started the visa process before his 21 bithday, he will be able to complete the process even if the end is after his 21 birthday?

Please help. I am sick with worry. Thank you very much.
