Sorry you didn't get my message in time.. it wasn't bad at all, was it? My husband was approved on the 12th, now comes buying plane tickets! :) Congrats!

Distance between two hearts is not an obstacle; rather a great reminder of just how strong true love can be.

Really veryyyy happy for you :jest: !!! I read your post yesterday and came in looking to see if you had updated  . I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the top 3 posts were Visa APPROVALS  !!!

For so many of you its finally happening and that gives me a bit of hope. We are just in the beginning stages of getting all the paperwork together to file for the K-1 visa, so I know it will be a long 7 or 8 months atleast :clock: but I guess after being apart for basically all our lives (we've known each other since we were 5 and dated on and off for about 17 years) I guess 7 months isnt so bad after all :reading:

I think your consulate is easier than that in my country, I heard horrible stories of how mean the CO are to the applicants here in my country LOL...my husband filed the petition on Dec 22, 2010 and I get my interview scheduled on Nov 22, 2011. I will have missed my 1st wedding anniversary and thanksgiving dinner to meet my husband's family. It's really frustrating as we were one month left behind due to error made by NVC. But, good things come to those who wait...Im happy that most of people here in VJ finally made it through. Once again, congrats!!!

They do? I hope not meet such CO when my time comes up, or....
