The processing time estimate for the adjudication of the I-129F is past due. It advises that if it becomes past due, that I should contact USCIS to inquire about the petition. They receieved the I-129F on May 31, and the estimate was September 30, then October 10, then September 30 again.

Has anyone ever done this? I am not exactly sure how to contact USCIS or even what to say to them. I am kind of afraid they will get annoyed and make it that much more difficult for me. Any advice?

Your 5 month timeline is not up till November so I would ring then. You need to go by the date of your NOA1 and count 5 months.

Divorced !st November 2012.

your 5 month processing time works off your NOA1 and the visajourney timeline is just a rough estimate that could be way off. if you call USCIS now they will only tell you not to call again until 5 months have passed from your NOA1.

The "estimate" is VJs, not USCISs. It means nothing. It means even less than nothing.

The USCIS "estimate" is currently 5 months from the receipt date. End of October for you and THAT means nothing. It is an estimate.

You can contact USCIS at anytime for any reason.

Thats just an estimate based on VJers...does not included stats from all the many petitions that are being filed that are not active on this site. hang in there something sooon will happen for ya!

Now if you're passed 5 months, which is the mark for the USCIS then you may give them a call 1800-375-5283

You can give them a call at that number even if you are not past the 5 months. The result will be the same.
