Dear this is such a sad news but hang on there no one can stop u marrying not the USCIS not the NVC and definitely not US Embassy. I just read the news link of what happened to your husband bizarre life experience, very tragic I can't help not to shed tears, how much a man could take? My prayers goes for you and him and the kids! I speak peace, joy and love for both of you and I pray God's reality manifest in your journey. HE IS A BIG GOD BIGGER THAN ANYTHING! :)(L)(F) (F)

It's already 1 year since we filed the petition and waiting for 5 months since my interview and was put in AP and today I received an email from the embassy. This is what the email said:

-----------------------------------------

Dear ********:

This is in reply to your October 4, 2011 inquiry regarding your visa case.

The case is no longer under our jurisdiction. On September 20, 2011, we returned the I-129F visa petition to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office in Laguna Niguel, California through our National Visa Center (NVC) for appropriate disposition.

When USCIS is in receipt of the petition, you may wish to contact the USCIS National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 regarding this matter.

------------------------------------

But they still have my passport, they haven't send it back to me yet. I'm just worried if they lost it since last month the embassy got flooded. Then Me and my fiance are going to get married here in the philippines. What are we going to do since we have K1 petition pending? Do we need to wait for the USCIS decision before filing for another petition? Although my fiance will be living here in the philippines for awhile, we just wanna prepare what we will do next when we will start of the spousal route. Any help will be so much appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe you need to do an appeal or an attorney to help you? One thing, legal papers NEVER separate two hearts that love each other. I'm sending you my positive thoughts. Be brave and stay stronggood.gif

Flood is not bad enough to lose passports.

Your fiance can withdraw it but you've gone a long way just to withdraw the petition. Remember, spousal visa takes longer to process. Just a thought. I'm sorry about this, just need the right person to ask, we don't who that is.

Hi, I would strongly recommend hiring an immigration attorney. You are getting advice here, but you don't know how well the posters know the system. Some may be attorneys and be giving you great advice, but you cannot be sure of the quality of advice you are getting in a public forum, even a very well-intentioned one. Lawyer up.

I just wonder why I havent receive my passport this days since they sent the papers back to USCIS last september 20, almost one month past.

We already emailed our lawyer and ask him what we need to do next. We are waiting for his reply.

I just watched the video of your fiances story. So very sad, and I hope that your visa is approved quickly for the both of you. Such a tragedy for that to happen to anyone, but for it to happen twice

to the same person and then so close together has got to be so very hard to deal with. Praying for you and your fiance and may god bless this journey you are on and may it turn out exactly

as the both of you have planned.
