I called NVC again today. They said they received it on April 16th, but no assigned number yet...

Like every step of this process, it's hurry up and wait!

they do accept DS-3032 via email. When Petitioner gets Case number and IIN, he/she has to provide Petitioner and Beneficiary email addresses to NVC. Then you don't have to wait for any instruction from NVC, Beneficiary can email DS-3032 the same day. You will get automated reply right there and it might take a week to 10 days to "ACCEPT" your request.

Hi Fatima!

After getting the I-797 NOA2 via mail, what is the next step? I have no clue!

Thanks! I sent them an e-mail inquiry yesterday, and I was honestly expecting to receive some sort of standard "wait 15-30 more days" reply. But an approval e-mail it was! =)

Hi!

I need help! I haven't received any packet from NVC. Did you call them? I don't know where to start in order to submit the DS2023! It's driving me crazy!

Thansk!

God bless.

Thank you so much for your reply.

I really appreciate it!

Basically all I have is the NOA2 that was mailed to my husband received via mail last April 15. It's been a month and I still have not gotten any packet from NVC. I'm getting worried!

Don't wait for NVC to contact you. It would only delay things. Call them and ask if they have received your file from USCIS, and if a case number and an invoice identification number has been assigned already. When you call them, be prepared with your USCIS case number - that will be the one they'll use to look up your file.

USCIS

10/01/11 - Filed (2) I-130's

10/04/11 - NOA-1

04/05/12 - NOA-2

Your I-130 was approved in 184 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

04/23/12 - NVC received both cases (18 days/12 business days from NOA-2)

05/07/12 - Case numbers and IIN's (14 days/10 business days since NVC received)

05/07/12 - Sent out DS-3032 by email; auto-response received

05/08/12 - AOS fee invoiced, paid - "IN PROCESS"

05/09/12 - AOS fee shows as "PAID"

05/10/12 - Spouse's DS-3032 accepted; minor child's rejected = had petitioner call NVC = received verbal acceptance from operator

05/11/12 - Spouse's IV fee invoiced

05/14/12 - Daughter's IV fee invoiced, paid both IV fees - "IN PROCESS"

05/15/12 - Both IV fees show as "PAID"

05/16/12 - Sent both AOS and both IV packages to NVC via USPS (expected delivery: 05/19/12)

05/21/12 - All 4 packages delivered

05/30/12 - Received checklist for daughter's AOS

05/31/12 - Sent response to checklist via USPS (expected delivery: 06/01/12); Spouse's case completed

06/07/12 - Daughter's case completed; waiting for interview date

06/14/12 - P4 received: interview date 07/11/12

Embassy

07/04-05/12 - Medical at SLEC

07/11/12 - Interview: APPROVED!

07/14/12 - Visas on hand

POE: 10/17/12

GC's on hand: 10/31/12

Well I think I should let my husband call them tomorrow just so we can have an idea about the actual status of our case in NVC.

Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for your reply...it made me relax a little. It's just frustrating to see everyone's timeline moving and I'm still stuck in the NOA2 stage :( :(

NOA1: October 5, 2011 (I think this is also my Priority date)

My mom who is a green card holder filed an I 130 for me before I turned 21, and was approved last JUNE 20, 2013.(my age on the approval date was 22 years and 7 months). When my mom filed the petition I was under F2A (Thats what I knw) and when the petition was Approved Im already 22 years old and 7 months. Will my category from F2A be automatically moved to F2B? OR Can CSPA or CHILD STATUS PROTECTION ACT PROTECT MY CASE? and I also used the CSPA CALCULATOR and the result was Im still protected and eligible by CSPA and I want to verify this, if it is true,..and Im hoping for it..

Please Guys I really need your help. I also check the VISA BULLETIN and my PD will be current next month JULY 2013. so what should I do now?
