I'm personally looking forward to the extra hour of sleep we'll get this weekend. I'm still tired from Spring.

Oh sweet! I didn't realize that was coming up. Hey...let me ask a question...do you care more about an extra hour of daylight or an extra hour of sleep? If you're like me...it's really about an extra hour of sleep. I would like to propose that we do an EST (Extra Sleep Time) once per week! Every Sunday...25 hours long instead of 24.

In all honest, my circadian rhythm has always been way off...It feels like it's designed for something like a 30 hour day instead of 24. I'm never ready to go to sleep at night. Anyway, EST would be a good start.

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!

Did you work 3rd shift for a while?

I worked 2nd or 3rd for the better part of 10 years and it definitely messed me up. I'm just now (after 13 months on 1st) starting to get used to it.

No, but I've always had a tendency to stay up late...like til 4-6AM on weekends and 2-3AM weekdays (I get up for work at 8). I've always had lots of hobbies and projects going on...just not enough time in the day to do it all so I end up staying up. I'm usually tired all day long until about 11PM or so then boom...eyes wide open.

My mind is constantly going. I'm an insomniac too.
