biomtric worry.........

It has been nearly 2 months now since I received the NOA of the I175, and I have not yet got any more letters in the post, let alone my Biometrics appointment.

I understand that it can take a long time to process, from person to person, but according to the VJ timelines the letter should average in about a month (unless I am reading it wrong). USCIS are currently using my in-law's address, as I am travelling around the USA with my husband (he is a government contractor). My mother in law is looking out for it every day, but not being there is making me worry even more.

Is there any way I can find out if I have missed it? Do I have to make an infopass just to find out?

Has it taken anyone else this long? I am really starting to panic... we have come so far, and it would be such a shame if USPS let us down at the last minute : /

Thanks...

Has your case status changed online at the USCIS website? I know the timelines are slower than "usual" but if you are that concerned put in a call to the 1-800 number listed on your NOA and ask about it.

You should call them immediately before making an infopass request. 2 months is too long without a response.

We met, we fell in love, we married, we live as one! And that's the way love goes...:)

You cant check your case status until you have the biometric notice because the number on that notice is your case number. Not the number on the NOA1.

OP you need to call USCIS right away.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thank you, calling them was very successful. The lady on the phone has sent a request to the California Service Centre, and even given me a refference number for it. She said my "officer" should respond to me within 15 days. Certainly peace of mind hearing it from a person now, and also getting a refference number for the request. Phew!!
