Embassy says Visa Ready, DOS says AP!!???!!!

I know I already listed this in another forum but no one is answering that question...

We checked the site yesterday and it says his visa is ready...but when I called DOS to confirm, they tell me he is still in AP!!??!

Now I don't know what to think!!! Im nervous as all get out and sick to my stomach!! Anyone know what is going on!!

11/17/10-Mailed I-129F via FedEx!!!

11/18/10-Received this morning and signed! (on our way)

11/25/10-Received Email this morning that they have received Application and sent to VSC!

11/26/10-"Touched"

11/28/10-"Touched"

11/29/10-"Touched"

12/01/10-"Touched"

12/01/10-Received NOA1 Hardcopy

12/02/10-"Touched"

04/19/11-NOA2 APPROVED

04/25/11-NVC Received

04/28/09-Left NVC

05/01/11-Consulate Received

08/15/11-Interview!!

Interview Result- AP :o(

10/10/2011-AP FINISHED..Visa READY Thank you Jesus!!

10/24/11-Visa in HAND!!!

only reason I can think of is Embassy and DOS arent sync'ed on time. Give it few more days and ask for of them again. Good luck

9/8/15 visa status issued

eabbas any word on your hubby's case ?

Nothing except pending... We contacted congressman last week and he sent an inquiry right away but they were closed Monday so it may be the end of the week or the next before we hear anything... I think your visa is coming soon but idk about ours.. :(

I would go by what the embassy says over DOS. I would email or call the embassy as soon as possible.

Just did! Great Idea!! It's just they take days to respond and he is planning on going there this weekend! I hope they reply tomorrow or Thursday!! before he leaves!! You would think that the DOS would be in sync with the embassies...oh well! :o)

Any update...did you get in contact with the embassy?

Embassy never emailed back....so he is leaving on Saturday for UAE...I did call DOS and all they said was take your passport any to continue the process....so I guess that means all is cleared! :o)
