Hello, [uS Embassy Manila] Applicants who had Interviewed...:help:

I am planning to rent hotel the night before my interview as my schedule is very early [6:30am]. I live very far, and I dont want to risk my time to get to the US Emb. cramming. Do you have any suggestions that I can rent hotel of? Where is exactly is the place. How much the 1-day rent? Appreciate your help from those who experienced.

03-06-2012: Biometrics Appointment done
03-14-2012: Received mail for Interview Appt on 16th April 2012.
04-04-2012: EAD/AP approved

04-16-2012: Interview day - Approved! (waiting for GC)

off the topic:

window between you and the interviewer has a very tiny slot so make sure your folders are flexible and at least 1/2 inch thick. use button fasteners. no electronic gadget.

no need for button fasteners as you will just take the documents off the folders. Dont use hard cover for picture, it wont fit at that tiny opening ( Off-topic follow-up to teapotgurl1983 statement )

I stayed in Shogun Hotel for 3mos when my fiance was here. 15-20 mins (no traffic)away from US embassy. You can have someone accompany you, P1,500 with AC/Hot n cold shower/ swimming pool pass/ free breakfast. It's 3mins walk from MRT Taft Avenue Station.

You can also get a 12hr rate but no swimming pool pass.

I am using a normal plastic folder with long fastener inside is a plastic filler with a specified document in it. Will this work?

Yes that's per night. 24hrs. If you want a fridge, book for 1,700. Eat well and just jump into the pool after the grueling day. You call 8321644, look for Grace. Good thing about them is that, they don't have any check in time unlike other hotels. I just even showed up there unannounced but you call them to ensure the availability.
