Hello to all!!!

I have a quick question... My wife's 3 year mark is on March 26, 2012... (I have OCD therefore I want to prepare everything within lots of time... LOL). I would like to know if I can submit the N-400 package 90 days before the 3 year mark... That is how I did the Removal of Conditions package and had no issues at all... Is this ok for the N-400 package as well? Will this not cause any problems?

I really appreciate any insight on this matter.

Thanks a bunch!

Kelvin

This is exactly how you do it for N-400 as well, 90 days prior to the 3 years and you will be just fine.

Good luck

Yes, just be sure it is 90 days and NOT 3 months! I heard of cases being denied because they thought of 3 months instead of 90 days and hence, applied 91 or 92 days early. USCIS can deny the application even if it is just by 1 or 2 days early. Well, in your case you have February right before your anniversary month, so that's an advantage not to exceed the 90 days mark :)

Best of luck!

You cannot submit the N-400 for your wife.

You are not even allowed to fill anything out in the form, unless you want that to go on record by entering this information at the end of the form, hereby indicating that your wife might have problems reading or understanding questions in English.

You are totally out of the picture. Try going to the Oath ceremony for your wife, or getting a passport for her, doing jury duty for her, or voting for her. Not an option. Try not to sabotage your wife's naturalization by doing something illegal at such an important step of her journey. I'm sure you mean well and want to assist your wife whenever possible, but it's simply against the law.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

You fill out the N-400 form online. The cool thing is that you fill in the A number only once (in the upper right corner), and the computer will then transfer the number onto every page . . . like magic!

Then the form is printed out and mailed, accompanied by the required photocopies as outlined in the VJ N-400 Guide.
