hi guys, im from Srilanka, i applied for US k1 visa and faced interview on 13 sep 2011, after interview i was issued with 221(G) refusal with PENDING [/u

its not administration review but pending, and they didnt ask any thing to submit i bring 100 of photos , chat history, phone bills, Currier slips, passport chops and air tickets of my fiancee and her father etc... but they didnt ask any while interviewing, but we send same set for USCIS when case filing and i sow some of that document with them, so may be USCIS foreword all the evidence to embassy,thay kept all my original documents such as passport , birth certificate, police reports... now its almost month of waiting and still no news from embassy, when call they dont answer same with emails. i visit embassy once and they says i have to wait till they contact me.

my fiancee visiting me next month and we planing to visit embassy,and we thinking of bring all the evidence we have and question the embassy, if you guys know any thing that may help us plz let me know, help will greatly appreciate..

The embassy can't deny your fiancee admittance; the embassy is U.S. soil, and as a citizen she has every right to enter. You can determine this when she's there or beforehand, but she may have to arrange a meeting with the visa COs through the U.S. Citizen Services department. This may take some persistence, but it can probably be done. Good luck!

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I'm in the same situation. My wife went to Colombo office on 1st week of September 2011. Same thing happen , kept all the original including her passport.Issued 221g and mention your application is pending. I'm sri Lanka born US citizen. Ka And Ja , please post or email me any thing hear from embassy. I will do same. We dont know what to do.I emailed , they reply me saying your claim is under addtional administrative process and it may take several weeks or several months. Is this normal standing procedure in Colombo?Please share your experiance to keep us live. Both of working but we can't concentrate anything at work right now.

thanks TBoneTX we already book the appointment with embassy, but by my fiances presenting at embassy, will that help me with any means? and srilankan ill keep u up date, but im not letting them to drag my #### for month's if they dont issue a visa even after my fiancee talk to embassy will go to senator and put pressure on embassy...

yes, It will help since she is US born citizen. good luck. keep cool, everything wiil be okay.
