However, the other kind of rape - the kind where the woman doesn't know the rapist - are stopped cold and turn into attempted rape when the woman is armed. Read up on the girls in Florida and what happened when they started carrying guns.

Agreed! I was visiting my sister in Atlanta a few months ago when prep broke in on a woman in the bath. He was armed with a knife and fought with the woman, she was smart enough to get him to go to the bedroom, where she was able to get her weapon...the prep is now taking a dirt nap.

Slim, you should consider moving to Africa. Most of the countries there have no welfare, no unemployment, and only taxes on goods and services. Even better, no gun control or government regulations on things like your food or drinking water. You might want to prepare for cholera or dysentery though, that isn't the governments problem.

However, I have to disagree with that because having an unloaded firearm (assuming your magazine is loaded in your pocket or something in compliance with Kalifornia law) is still better than having no firearm at all.

I'll agree that the person with the unloaded firearm on their hip has to be neutralized before others. But, that means they still have to be neutralized. If I'm a criminal looking for victims, who am I more likely to pick? Someone with a clearly visible firearm on their hip or someone with no firearm at all?

There are two kinds of rape. The ones where the victim doesn't share some of the responsibility typically end badly for the assailant when the victim is armed. The other kind of rape really doesn't matter if anyone is armed or not since the woman is largely responsible for it in the first place.
