Guys,

How long does it take for the visa to be delivered after the interview and approval? My fiancee had her interview a week ago and the officer told her that the visa would be delivered in a week.

Today was a week, but no visa yet.... I guess Pony Express is more like donkey express.... :-) :angry:

I think it depends on the consulate. You are better off asking this question in the country-specific forum

I had the same thing happen & asked the same question on here! Our interview was September 22nd and the guy told my fiancee she was approved and we would get the visa within 5 business days. Everyone else that interviewed around the time we did got it within 3 so I was worried when we didn't have it after a week. We ended up getting it on October 5th (13 calendar days, 8 business days later). We didn't get the tracking number until the day before (October 4th).

08-09-2011: NVC Left
08-10-2011: Consulate Received

09-10-2011: Packet 3 (invitation letter) Received in Mexico

12-08-2011: AOS package sent (I-485, I-765, I-131, and supporting docs)
12-12-2011: Received Social Security Number and card in the mail
12-20-2011: Received NOA1 for I-485, I-765, and I-131
01-06-2012: Completed ASC appointment
02-02-2012: Received appointment notice for AOS interview on March 1, 2012
03-01-2012: Green card interview: APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yura&Ira, we had the interview in Moscow the day after you and are also still waiting...

2009/06/19 - 1st NOA 1 (I-129F)

2009/10/07 - NOA 2

2010/01/11 - interview; result - approved

2010/01/18 - received passport with visa in the mail

2010/02/05 - embassy calls and asked to return visa for a "correction"

2010/02/09 - fiance returns passport with visa to embassy

2010/03/09 - embassy tells us we are in "administrative review"

2010/09/07 - fiance receives passport back with canceled visa and letter; our petition has been returned to USCIS

2010/11/08 - 2nd NOA 1 (I-129F ROUND 2)

2011/04/19 - service request response - 6 months additional extensive background checks

2011/08/22 - 2nd NOA 2

2011/10/04 - interview

2011/10/20 - visa received

2011/11/04 - POE

2011/11/25 - legal marriage

2012/07/21 - wedding with family and friends!!
