Biometric Appointment

Hi guys,

I got an appointment at the last of this month for a Biometric Appointment. They gave me 3pm on the 20th October. Can I walk in at an early date for example on the 11th October at 8am when the Office opens , so I dont miss my work.

Since I saw lot of guys walking in earlier than the appointment date. This may at least cut some time of the delayed processing.

appreciate any feedback

You can try. It will depend on your local USCIS/ASC office. If they are not too busy that day, they will do it.

You can always try an early walkin. Just make sure if there are a lot of people not to try and attempt it. They get edgy when it is done that way...

I was turned away at my field office when I did an early walk in because they were packed that day. However, I didn't really leave. I told them that I will wait till they can work me in. Two hours later, it was lunch break, they finally let me have my Bio done.

Personally I don't think this will be accepted. However, some may or may not have succsss/failure with an attempt. If are you thrown out saying today is not your day, there is nothing you can do. On the other hand, if they don't have much work and are willing to do the favor, I guess that's your good day. So far from my interactive with the agencies, things like that happenning is very slim and don't be surprised with a rude experience.

I must thank all of you for giving me the perfect ideas.

Today 10/13/2011 I did my early finger printing. Some nice folks here gave me nice advices how to implement the strategy of doing it early. Wednesday and Thursday the ASC guys are not so busy. I showed up Jamaica Application Support Center at 7.40am. At 7.50am they called me in and made the exception of taking me inside for FP. I was the first guy. It was a nice smooth process and not a single unnecessary word uttered.

ASC guys are nice and courteous and I didnt forget to write some nice comments for them.
