Hello again,

I'm finally at the stage of processing packet 3, I called DOS on Friday and was informed that my packet 3 was sent out and should be arriving sometime this week. Just so I can have a head start and have packet 3 sent out as soon as possible, I'm filling out the necessary forms for packet 3. Since I haven't received my packet 3, I do not know which exact forms they actually need from me, however, I've been using the guidelines from Montreal Embassy Guide.

I've done DS-156 and now am working on the DS-160. I'm having a bit of problem answering of the questions in this form, which ask; How long do I intend to stay in the US. Well, my answer would be INDEFINITE, I'm getting married to my fiance what else do should they expect me to say?

Also, they ask; Have you ever visited the US before, state the dates.

Well, I live 30 minutes away from the US border and I visit my fiance allot sometimes twice month every month. He only lives just 6 hours away (by car) from me. So do I have state all the dates? On DS-156 is what allot easier answer this because it allowed me to type a statement describing that I frequently cross the border and visit, since 2010. This form does not allow me to do that, I'm completely stuck on this one.

Has anyone else experience this? And if so, how did you answer?

Thanks.

the ds-160 electronic replaces the ds-156 form.

Not for Canadians, Montreal requires both.

As for the original questions, I answered "50 years" because I'd seen others having done that and I listed my five most recent long visits on the form. Hope this helps!

Montreal requires BOTH the DS-160 and DS-156. In this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/327503-k1-guide-montreal/ scroll down to step #4 and #5, this is up-to-date instructions for preparing and sending packet 3 to Montreal, including which forms to fill out and how to mail it. Don't forgot the DS-230 as well, even though some people say it's all online Montreal wants a paper copy of it.

You can find all the forms here: http://montreal.usconsulate.gov/content/content.asp?section=visas&document=visa_pkt3

I also put 50 years on my form.

As for the visits, list the most recent dates. I believe there's a field for "list additional dates here" which creates a supplement that prints off in addition to the first page. You can also add something along the lines of "including many more dates of unknown specificity due to frequent travel, between the years of XXXX-XXXX."
