Thanks. Post office....send first class certified mail to the Dallas Lockbox, and tell them "return receipt requested", right? Then 3 days later start clicking refresh on my email / bank account 10 minutes.

Priority with confirmation. 5$. gets there in 2-3 days. You get confirmation that it arrives.

I-129F instructions. PS read and reread instructions, it will save you time in the long run. Also avoid RFE's usually a 30 day delay or more.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

340.00 USD is correct. According to instructions, check or money order must be drawn on a bank or other financial institution located in the United States.

It should be made out to U.S. Department of Homeland Security (unless you live outside of the United States). Make sure it is spelled out as specified and not abbreviated.

Happy New Year!

Ha, so true! But I decided i was going to add a few more things to my proof of evidence packet, the the delay of a few days will be fine. I finally found copies of our first conversations via email from 2009, and I need to copy, translate and attach those to the packet.

I do have a couple other questions though...I notice in the I129F instructions it says it needs copies of 'all pages' of my passport. I have copied the information/ID page, and the two pages with the stamps from my two visits to Colombia.....but every other page is blank. It says they want 'all pages'....I'm wondering if it's necessary to give 4 or 5 pages of copies of blank pages in my passport.

Also I'm still working on getting everything organized the way i want it. People have told me just to make sure everything is there and not to stress about it, but I do have one more question about this.

I want to send them 2 folders, one with the 325a, I129f, passport size photos, birth certificate, passport page copies, and signed letters of intent.

In folder 2 I want to combine "proof of having met in two years" and "proof of ongoing relationship". I mean, many of these things overlap. Airline ticket stubs, receipts from travel and hotels in Colombia....all of this proves we met and also is evidence we're in a relationship. So I just want to combine these two steps into one folder with all my evidence. I also have a zip lock bag with about 10 photos of us together and with her family.

Do you think all of this sounds acceptable?

I don't think they care about BLANK pages.

Just copies of everything else that holds any unique meaning... photo page and all stamped pages.

Just my way (I'm sure there could be others):

Make a specific Table of Contents.

Like, I got XVI items in my table of contents.

List all of the Government forms and Legal Papers together, with Explanation of Benefits, in the front.

Put all the other things, Proof of Having Met and Proof of On-going Relationship, in the back.

Jus my 2 cents
