Hi everyone. Our petition has been approved, my fiance got the hard copy of NOA2 last Wednesday. Today while going through our files we found out we left a blank unanswered, question number 10. My fiance got his citizenship through birth in the US but he forgot to fill out the blank that ask for the certificate number and the date and place it was issued.

It is something we should worry about?

U guys will do just fine. He has no Certificate of naturaliztaion as a US born citizen.

All that was required was a copy of his birth certificate ot US passport. U would have gotten an RFE if this wasn't the case. Good luck

Alrighty :) maybe I just worry too much.

Should we start calling NVC or just wait? I can't go through a medical examination until I have a case number. Can't request a police certificate too until I receive the letter from the embassy :(

Check out the timelines by others who went just before you. Look at how long it took them. Figure on the same time frame and add another day or so if there were any holidays (10/10 is a US holiday). That's about how many days it ought to take you. Add in 2-3 days more, then call after that.
