Hi All,

I recieved my new green card but there's an error. I came here in the USA on 2009 but in my new GC (10 yrs.) it was 2008 instead of 2009. I checked my old green card (conditional GC) and was all correct date. I also did checked the documentations that I endorsed to them when I apply for the removal of condition regarding my status. Obviously it's their fault, a typo. What do I need to do? Do I have to make an info pass for just give them a call? thank you all for reading :)

you need to make a copy, front and back of your card (for your records), then file an I-90 (no fee) for a replacement based on USCIS error. You will need to send the actual card.

**Edit - it will take around 3 months to get your card back.

I would do nothing.

Presumably next year you will become a U.S. citizen and then you have to turn in that card anyway and replace it with a U.S. passport.

correct, make copies of the card front and back to keep for your records, give them a call explain what happen,you will need to return the card, along with the filed form 1-90 that it was an administration error,no fee.
