orignal docs at interview time

hello to all VJ members

i am reading different post about interview some people said that before interview some guy behind the window demanded the birth & marriage certificate? so my question is before issuing interview letter all original docs were submitted to NVC so we have just photo copies nothing else, in this case what we do just tell them or show him/her photo copies?

any experience?

before we sent to NVC we actually got certified copies just in case anything happ to originals but if you have at least photo copies take them with you to interview.. ALL of them that you submitted to NVC... at time of interview they should give all originals back or if they don't at that time they will send back with passport. If they ask for originals just tell them they were submitted to NVC but you do have photo copies.

thanks and can NVC take interview from petitioner in there native language like for Pakistanis in urdu ?

and what question they asked?

and one thing i jugged that the interview officer put pure American girls cases to "AP" coz in there mind why they don't get marry with American boy what i think i stated that you can also check it through different interview thread posted.

NVC doesn't do the interview they look thru your documents and verify evthing is in order and collect the fees then they send your case to the embassy and that's where you do the interview. YEs it can be done in urdu you just need to let them know you want it that way.

Yeah that's what im seeing is when you marry outside your culture they want to review it a little closer which is usually no big deal as its genuine but they are trained to find the fraud and they just want to be sure each case is sincere... so be prepared for AP but be thankful when it doesnt happen!!

they gave him a long interview bout 45 min to an hour asking everything about us, me, him, our children where i work what i make asked about our facebook and if we were on eachothers page and of cos we are... Everything u can imagine...
