hi guys!! exactly one week after my interview i already have my visa with me :) praise to God!

my visa will expire on march 7.. BUT since we are still waiting for my son's sputum culture.. and since his sputum smear are all positive, im scared he might be left behind..

does anybody here knows how long it takes to deliver the greencard? so worst case scenario that my son needs to stay for medication, i can go back as soon as i got my greencard :)

plus, our port of entry was supposedly hawaii, but my husband changed plans of staying in california... is it okay to go straight to california or would it cause a big trouble for us?

thank you so much vj members :)

i dont beleive the exact city POE matters, You may know in advance of the interview and have stated it during the interview that Hawaii would be your POE. But you are not required to use that location for the actual POE.

Only thing to remember with location like Hawaii is that you cant leave the USA untill you have green card. Some crusies ships might take you in to international watters and some flights may use a forign country in between. im sure there are other post about this issue

wow, thanks for the information.. but since we stated in the ds 230 plus the application form of the petition that we'll be staying in hawaii, is it okay if we stay instead to cali?
