Realistically - how long till getting interview date?

All the paperwork was in and accepted by the 10th September, and medical was done on the 12th. The only thing we were waiting on was clearing the RFE for the IV fee payment. HUGE SAGA! Never thought it would be so difficult to get someone to take my money, especially during the recession! Anywho, found out this morning that the money was taken out of the bank account by the NVC.

How long, realistically, will it be before they give me my interview date? Could I expect to hear in a few weeks or could I be potentially looking at a December interview now?? I really hope not.

I think really it's just a matter of when London lets NVC know there's an open interview spot. We found out 3 days after our case closed when our interview date was. I would think you should know within a couple weeks hopefully but saying that we found out the end of August and aren't having our interview until this thursday. Just looking at dates from when people got their interview date TO their interview date it seems like it's about 6 wks. So you make squeak in November. You could always contact the embassy and request an earlier date if it was into December.

I'd say 50/50 on a November vs December interview date.
