Hello everyone!

My wife and I will be going for our interview in about a month from now, and I started collecting necessary proof of relationship documents. Please review and let me know if I seem to be missing anything:

1- lease document with both our names

2- drivers licences with same address

3- one credit card with same number

4- no joint checking account (she just transfers money to my account every month to help with bills)

5- car insurance

6- rental insurance

7- photos (about 20, showing different points in our 9 year relationship, plus wedding photos)

8- marriage certificate

9- cell phone bill (no other utilities have her name)

10- receipt of her engagement ring (is this not necessary?)

Am I missing anything big?

life, medical insurance, car registrations.

We don't have a car registered with both our names only on the car insurance. Is that okay? And we can't afford medical insurance. We are getting life insurance though. My husband is getting it and put me as his beneficiary. Do i need to have one also and put him as my beneficiary?

pot121 hijacked my thread lol :)

I forgot about the medical insurance, thanks for reminding me. We own our car but the title is only under my name so it doesn't make sense to bring that. We will bring car insurance documents though.

And my timeline is filled, I'm AOSing from an employment based AOS application :)

Steady is the word in dealing with this stuff, see the guides here and USCIS, re read, see the postings read and digest them. It will save you time and agony in the long run.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Topic has been moved from AOS from a Family based visa to AOS from Work, Student & Tourist Visa forum as OP is adjusting from a work visa

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
