Joint Sponsor or Household Member for I-184?

I'm in the process of filling out my I-184. I will have to have a co-sponsor, but I'm a little bit confused about something. I live in my parents' home, but they do NOT claim me as a dependent. I am using my Father as the co-sponsor, but of course he files jointly with my Mother. So do I have to have him (1)file as a Household Member and fill out the I-184A, or (2) can he just file as a Joint Sponsor and fill out the I-184 (having my Mother fill out an I-184A)? If option (1), then how is that handled in terms of my Mother's income also being on his taxes? I'm probably making this way more complicated than it actually is, but I haven't had any RFE's or setbacks yet, and I'm trying to keep it that way. Thanks!

You fill out the I-864.

Your father as a joint sponsor fills out an I-864, your mother can fill out the I-864A.

I started another thread with the basically the same question. The only difference is that my parents still claim me as a dependent, does this change anything?

No. Same answer for you. Both the USC petitioner and head of household joint sponsor need to provide I-864. Joint filing spouses provide the I-864a.
