Hello again everyone..... I have 3 questions at the moment hopefully i can get some info from people who are dealing with Nigeria. I am completing my initialI-129F packet and want to make sure everything is perfect so i dont cause my baby and I to get an RFE. Sooooo, here goes...

1) I see it saying in some places to have 4 copies of the G325A, I read also just 1 copy, so please tell me which is it?

2) I also just got my CERTIFIED copy of my divorce decree from my previous marriage ($26 !!), I already had just the divorce decree the court gave me but to make sure i dont get a RFE i just got a certified copy. My question now is do I send in the original or make a copy of it and keep the original for the interview?

3)Last but not least, on the I-129F on question 18 they ask me to write a letter explaining our meeting. can you tell me exactly what info they want, like how we meet AND the meeting in person or just a description of they events and everything from when i was actually there visiting. Im a very detailed person and dont want to write them a 5 paged letter....lol.

Well thank you in advance to all that help.....have a blessed day!

Well welcome to VJ, you are among many wonderful and caring members who are very eager to assist you in this long VJ, specially with Lagos.

In regards to your first question: I would say you would need few copies of your beneficiary's bio sheet. One to submit here with the petition and another for to be mailed in the second package. Your beneficiary would need to sign this form, so have the beneficiary sign few copies as originals and send it to you.

Two: Certified and notarized seems to be the way to go with Nigeria where documents are concerned. I send in the copy not the original, but if you have few originals? I would submit an original certified copy.

Three: The question is addressed to your meeting, the question asks if you have met in person within the two years of the filing of the petition. If you have made a trip or two or three write them down. You will need to write about your visits. If you have not met in person you will need to an explanation which requires either religious reasons, or hardship.

I hope this was helpful. Good luck

As regards the question 18, we wrote a 4pages letter and we were approved.

Just write the evolution of the relationship to full details since USCIS didn't ask for specific lenght of words or how many pages to write.

You need to let them know everything about your relationship, how it started, who proposes, how both families accepted the relationship, date you visited your fiance and everything you think to add.. Past life experiences is of great help if you include them too.
