He didnt ask me for any evidence even though i prepared so much.

He told me before we started " this seems like a good day for you " and that was it. I just swore under oath long with my wife and he just asked her how and when we met.

Congratulations.

Here's a tip for you: In two years when you start your paperwork again, you will need to send in evidence covering the entire length of marriage to show you mingled finances and lives. Start a folder or shoebox now and toss in things as you get them that have both your names or photos together. It doesn't have to be everything but just a sampling of dates. Like a bank statement from now or a car insurance form or your 2011 photo Christmas card or invitation addressed to both of you or a copy of a new lease or boarding passes from a trip. Then when ROC time comes, you'll have a pile of stuff to choose from rather than wishing you hadn't thrown away things from 2011 or 2012. They want more than things dated in the month you are applying, so save a small sampling of your joint history as you go along.
