There's a lot of "what ifs" always, but when there's blatant miscalls (did you see Game 3?) then it makes for a questionable game.

The Cardinals were the better team this year. If only Tejas had a better pitching staff. I imagine we'll see them in the next 3-5 world series again, they have a great lineup and great fans, so the team and new ownership will be able to sustain it. I guess most of my hatred towards the Tom Hicks, one of the worlds worst sports franchise owners of all time. He and his partners nearly killed one of the most storied franchises in all of sporting history, Liverpool FC.

I didn't forget anyting about your pathetic meltdown, not my fault you're a complete n00b about the olympics, and hockey in general. I think anyone who has participated in the Canadian regional can attest to your meltdown and subsequent expulsion from the regional forum. You are quite pathetic Paul in your assesment of sports. Your partisan beliefs cloud any hope for a legitimate analysis of these playoffs. You seem to think that the world is against the Rangers, you are deluded. The Rangers played a good series, worthy of applause, but they fell short. Sad that you can't even give any praise to the winners beyond your sad criticism of the officiating.

The Rangers woes didn't start with Hicks, but he certainly exacerbated them. He is a global plague on sports, beyond Tejas and should be barred from any franchise. The current ownership group seems quite good, and has built a good foundation. The team is in good hands, and I fully expect to see them in the next several world series. Really, they are quite unfortunate in their luck. The team is really 1 frontline pitcher away from winning, and 2 pitchers away from dominating.

I congratulate the Cardinals and the rangers, and hope for a great season next year. It was a great series, full of action, it is too bad that the rest of America didn't bother to watch. LOL, hopefully the Dodgers can sign Albert Pujols

He was throwing the ball in the 8th like a complete lunatic.

About the only thing good that Tom Hicks ever did was end up bankrupting his teams and selling them off to other people. A shame that just happened recently. (well Stars are the last).

As far as Pujols goes, it'd be hard to see the Cards let him go after this year.
