Rangers seem to have an edge over detroit. I predict Rangers in 5.

Cardinals split in Milwaukee which means advantage Cardinals. I imagine it will take 6 games.

Right on !!

Go Cardinals !!!!!!!!

(Only those damn Yankees have more World Series appearances than the St. Louis Cardinals)

Should be an interesting series.

The #1 hitting team in MLB/AL vs. the #1 NL hitting team.

While last year it was #1 hitting vs. #1 pitching - which pitching usually wins....

Both teams have decent starting pitchers, but nothing to get overly excited about.

The only real advantage I can give the Rangers is our bullpen. The rest should be pretty damn even.

Go Cards!

Bad call in the 9th though.

a lot of bad calls tonight actually. Ump was a joke.

Rangers and Cards got some bad calls on the pitches.

A shame CJ has become the joke of baseball here. Good pitcher, just seems to have died off. To think the moron dared to say he was going to get 'his' big contract after this season.... At this point, I'm hoping the Rangers don't even make an offer.

#1 - F the umps.

#2 - Primary ump for St. Louis --- WHAT THE **?!?!?!?!?!

#3 - Announcers are tied to St. Louis as well

#4 - EVERY LAST CARD should be tested for steroid use as MG is the coach.

#5 F the umps.

RANGERS - MAYBE - lose 11-7 if the BULLSHIT doesn't happen.

Of course, if the BULLSHIT doesn't happen it's a momentum difference as well.

I've seen a lot of bullshit games in my day, but this one takes the cake.

Yeah was a horrible call but I don't think he was biased. He called the play safe in the 9th at second in game 2. That play led to the win. Joe buck may be Jack's son, but we don't really consider him a cardinal anouncer any more.

Derek Holland was BEAST tonight! Fear the Stache!

He wanted to complete the game... maybe should have let him too. Was worried Neftali was going to blow it.

The strike zone was pretty large tonight. Makes me wander if there was a chat by the umps after yesterday's craziness.

the strike zone has been odd for the entire series.

The umps seem to don't mind calling strikes on ball that fall just to the left or just below the actual strike zone... On the other hand, they are calling balls that are "in" the strike zone in the upper part of it or on the right side...

We're sitting and watching the game and the pitch tracks all like "we got screwed there... oh, they gave us on there... damn screwed there again... oh, there's one to make up for it" ----- odd calls all around for each game.

crazy game... both teams had defensive errors all over the place..

With CJ's pitching, it's amazing that the Cards didn't score more...

I hope the Rangers don't try and re-sign him next year... no way, no how.

La Russa disappointed me during the press conference in throwing his bullpen coach under the bus after just saying before then they don't throw people under the bus on that team... Two mis-communications on calls for pitchers? especially on one who wasn't supposed to pitch? How do you hear "Lynn" when "Motte" is being said???? Makes no sense... don't like excuses like that and La Russa is MUCH better than that.
