about two weeks ago my lawyer emailed me and stated to me that she recieved a response from uscis california service center stating that they needed his marriage license from his first marriage to prove that his children were born out of the marriage, beause Im filing a petition for two of my step kids, but my question is when i called the uscis they had no record on file for ever sending out a notice, when uscis send a Request for edvidence to lawyers do they send one to the petitioner as well, I owe my lawyer some money I didn't know if this was her way of scaring me or not, which i paid today but please if anyone have any info , i welcome it, thank you

they are supposed to send you everything not your lawyer. I have a lawyer too but everything from USCIS came to me not him, I think he is lying. Lawyers are so useless. I could do all the things that he did, my money went to drain. :wacko:

thank you this whole process is draining!!!!!!! I"ve spent so much money already on this lawyer than i look on here and people are doing this everyday without a lawyer, In the beginning i would spend whatever cause I want my husband home, congrats with your progress so far

Yes you are right, I wish I never hired a lawyer, almost everyone in here did it without a lawyer. I understand your situation, same thing with me I didnt really care about the money all I wanted is to bring my fiance to U.S. Don't worry, just be patient and don't believe him. Tell your lawyer to send you the RFE notice that he received. If he is lying then he will make an excuse and not send it to you. By the way don't we hire a lawyer so that we don't get RFE and so that everything goes smoothly?? All I can say is that lawyers are sometime very useless, all they care is about your money :angry:
