Hello,

Thank you so much to you ALL !!! I am grateful having people like you . I went back home (India)for 2 weeks and decided to adopt a child from there . I am reading too many confusing stories about this subject, would you please give me some basic information of how to:

Start from where? How long does the process of adoption take in California? Which forms do I need? What should the parents of the child (who we are planning to adopt) should do?

I am a USC full time working – My husband is working too – we have our own house – the child we are trying to adopt is a girl who is 13 years old.

Please help. Thanks!

If the now lives in India, you would adopt in India, not California. Not a K3 visa issue though.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
