Specific amount of money he has to have on the bank to be qualify? He is in montreal and His appointment is on the 21st..

Can you provide a few more details - your profile shows IR1/CR1 (which implies you're married) and yet you're saying boyfriend.

Canadians don;t normally need tourist visas, which country does he hold a passport of?

There is no specific amount of money- he needs to show he can support himself, and that he has significant ties to Canada.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I know she has stated in another thread that he is a LPR of Canada and if he's from a non-WHTI country he would require the B-2 visitor's visa - I was thinking he might be Haitian.

I haven't read anything about a specific amount of money being required for this other than the visa fee, has anyone else?

I am sorry. We are not marry yet. Yes he is from haiti. He lives in mtl canada and will be requesting visa to visit the usa. The reason i asked is because in haiti we need to have money in the bank to show financial support.

The requirements are the same. The interviewer will want to see ties to home (Canada) and the ability to support himself during his visit to the US.
