mandisa was da bomb... lookin' hot and got the pipes

chris did great, however it would have been nice if he credited the band 'Live' instead of letting the judges say what he did with 'walk the line' was original and 'made it his'

taylor had fun and i loved his performance... it was 50s... which is what the night was supposed to be about...

nice to see katharine moving around more and less stiff

paris will be able to sing 'fever' even better after shes actually had fever

ace... um... um... can we say 'flat'?

kevin hit a few off notes and i still have a hard time believing him singing love/sexy songs... but hes got the granny/11 yr old votes

elliott has a great voice and is getting better with his performances

lisa just didnt grab my attention

kellie... again, very choreographed... you could almost see the wheels spinning in her head to tell her 'step here', 'move my arm there', 'oh, yeah, look at simon here', etc... shes back to the right genre for her, but why she keeps singing with a slight french accent in places still baffles me

bucky is feeling more in his element... i felt he was kind of lost trying to find his key for this song tho...

Ok I thought Bucky sucked big time. I think he will get voted off. ACE was el crapo..

Taylor is good singer but I am getting tired of his same old bend at the knees, and pretend I am taking a dump...

He looks like a monkey when he performs. I dont think he will get into the top 4.

Madisa.. she is a moving along.. Kellie was good.. Kevin is a good kid.. why everyone hate on him.. heis just a sophmore in High school.. he sang good tonight..

Chris makes everything into ROCK and ROLL..but he is still going to go far..

Kahthlyn was awsome tonight..

Yes Paris needs to pick it up quickly or she be at home watching..

Well this is the second week that Kelly talked about her eye lashes.

That poor little thing has something missing upstairs.

I just read that Kevin is getting all the votes from a website where they vote for the worst singer. So that should keep him in there for awhile. They said when he goes the votes will then go to Kelly the second worst singer.

Very disappointed with Lisa. The girl can sing but the last few weeks have shown that she can't perform. She's gotta go sooner rather than later. And she was one of my fav's going in to the "real competition".

Kevin is overdue for departure. Yes, he can sing, too. In a choir. Not on that stage.

Bucky needs to pack as well. He just ain't feelin' it.

Ace (34 women in the life audience alone wanted to marry him ), Taylor (quite the entertainer), Paris (I like her and she has a great voice but I don't think she's ready for the big time), Kellie (the cutest thing but some god-aweful make-up yesterday) and Elliott (I don't get people's obsession with him) will sail through easily once again.

Chris, Mandisa and Katharine - there's your final three. Remember, Simon said he knows who those final three will be. I think those are the ones.

Bottom three tonight should be Lisa, Kevin, and Bucky with the last one leaving. I think Kevin will be safe this week. He is not Idol material and just a matter of time before he is shown the door.

Loved Mandisa. They are calling her Mandiva on the tv last night and by the local radio stations.

My take:

mandisa was awesome! I like her more and more every week.

chris was awesome as usual... and as far as him using Live's version of walk the line, that's what it's all about on American Idol. They are supposed to use a version of a song, and then sing it to make it their own. Chris doesn't compromise, as Simon said, he will find a version, or find a way to make the song fit what he's good at singing.

taylor was good, but I think it wasn't his best performance, but I still like him.

paris needs to learn control. anyone else notice that she can't walk and sing at the same time without sounding like she's out of breath?

ace went so flat. and I hate that falsetto that he keeps throwing into every song.

kevin - high school musical as usual. he really bothers me.

Elliot - just don't like him as much as I used to.

Lisa has gone seriously downhill lately

bucky - you know, i like him, but I don't think he has what it takes to make it all the way, he's just not good enough.

You dont like Kevin cause he is so young. I bet in 10 yrs or so when he is a pop star you will think differntly.. I am not saying he will win it as a matter of fact I know he wont.

i don't like kevin because he can't sing!!! i don't care how young he is. Everything he sings comes out sounding like he belongs in a high school musical. NOT my idea of American Idol. His singing sucks, period the end.

and in 10 years if he were to make it anywhere, which he won't, i will still think the same thing.

I think any high school musical Kevin were to be in would be pretty crappy. He has a LISP for God's sake! Has nobody noticed this?

ok here is my take on last night

Mandissa was ok ....

Chris I didn't like... not a big fan of Chris but I am not sure why

Taylor is just getting on my nerves now

Kevin needs to go soon and so does Bucky.... they are both out of thier element

Katharine was amazing last night.... she has a great voice

Elliott was pretty good last night too.... there is something about his voice that just gets you

Lisa is slipping, she did good at the auditions and Hollywood week but now she can't keep up...

Paris was pretty good too....

Ace was awful, I needed a barf bag ... yeah, I hate that falesetto thing he throws into every song too...

Kelly was good, she gets better every week but she does look better more natural then with all that make-up and I don't think she is dumb, a little naive maybe but not dumb
