Being a harmonica player and a bit of a singer myself, i root for Taylor Hicks.

That being said, I think he should aim for second place... he is already a somewhat of an established musician and the exposure is good for his career, but the title "American Idol" is more appropriate for a young, kneadable budding artist.

Ending second place wouldn't be bad at al in his case.. look what happened to Bo Bice!

Hes a natural singer and good too.

Katherine McPhee is another one... yeah, I know her mother is a singing teacher but Katherine still has a natural talent for singing

I agree. He already has a small following and a CD out. If he got second, he could still make his OWN music, but still gain the new fan base from the show.

After following the link on Taylor Hicks, I'm thinking since he already has a fan base, albeit small and a CD out already, that the AI gig for him is a way to get his music out to the masses. I don't think winning or not will hurt his career in any way, he has it made now either way IMO. He really is awesome and his personality, energy and obvious love for what he does will carry him a long way. In saying that though, I still can't see him winning. I think Chris Daughtry has the best chance of winning right now. He is current, knows who he is and will fit into the mainstream charts just as he is.

Bo Bice cut a CD and is performing. He was rushed to the hospital and had two surgeries this past year, hospitalization and emergency surgery to treat an intestinal blockage, and then to repair infection from first surgery. He is still performing and touring. He married his long time girlfriend and is a daddy too now.

Ace is UUGGGLLLYYYY .... I think Elliot looks better..... Elliot seems to have more character.... When you look at Ace there is nothing going on behind his eyes...
