well I lose any respect for a show that obviously gets rid of the true talent.....Chris vs Taylor? :whistle: Mandisa vs Pickler :whistle: a sad show for a sad show.....

Last night was not a competition. You missed all that led up to it, and why Taylor deserved to win.

Do you really believe that Taylor (or Kat for that matter) were the most talented people in this season's Idol?

Taylor was my #1 from the start, (Mandisa and chris right behind) and considering Taylor ...WON and was never in the bottom 3, it looks like a lot of others agreed. :thumbs: SOUL PATROL! :dance:

I am intrigued... what did you see in this cheesy character that I obviously don't??? I had not heard Mandisa before and I am gob-smacked... what on earth is wrong with America when someone so smazing gets voted off and a simpering creature and a constipated character make the finals!!!

Elliot and Chris were zillions of times better than him. Also they did not crouch in this manner reminiscent of someone crapping.

If someone called Roger Daltrey a jerk or said they can't stand Jethro Tull I would not feel that I had been dis-respected even if it was on an I love Jethro Tull thread. People are entitled to their opinions even if they differ from mine. Obviously this does not apply here. Not my intention to start a flame war... and I guess I will just stay the hell off any threads where people express opinions differing from mine.

Maybe not so much having an opinion but using a bit of respect when expressing one. Coming into a thread to discuss a show you have seen once to name call, disprespect and use potty talk expressions about a fan favorite is not exactly an un'flameworthy' move.

The title of this thread does not say that this is for Taylor's fan club... nowhere does it say that only those pro Taylor can post - that anything else would make you a disrespectful ####...

Ah well I find it astounding how defensive you are about a TV show for chrissakes... this has got to be the most shallow of shows... content wise and in every way... with a cavorting over-sexed bimbo who can't sing, for a judge... ludicrous if you ask me!!! jeeeeeeeez... well just for the record I won't retract a single word I said... but I am sorry that the lot of you were upset...

I have watched from the beginning and I guess according to that I am "allowed" to voice my opinion in this thread :P

let's all keep in mind it is JUST a TV show...

And now Taylor (whom I adorE) has to share the title with people like FANTASIA? How she ever won i'll never know.

I HATED that one song she had...Baby's mamas!!

COME ON. I work in the "Ghetto" and that song does NOTHING to help young girls... just FYI...Hearing them running around singing it..made me ill

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

I thought Mandisa is very pretty..but that's just my opinion. I kind of lost my interest in American Idol when Chris got sent home...*sigh*

December 13, 2007 - I-751 submitted to NSC (removing of conditions fun begins...)

December 22 - Received a rejection notice because the form was not "properly signed". Package itself was not returned.

January 1, 2008 - Received packet back from CSC. They are requesting we resubmit the packet (which is already organized by CSC) with a properly signed form.

January 2 - Packet resubmitted to California.

January 12 - NOA1 received (dated 01/07/2008)

January 19 - Biometrics appointment notice received (dated 01/15/2008)

February 1 - Biometrics

March 11 - Approved! Card production ordered (notified via e-mail).

March 20, 2008 - New card arrived in the mail :)

Done until 2018 :)

I don't hate him... just think he did not deserve to win... and all that crouching around like someone constipated made me feel very uncomfortable :blink:

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT
