Taylor Hicks rocked it last night... for those of you interested, he already has one cd out...

Taylor info & samples from his CD

i got through 6 times to vote for him last night... i know its unlikely for him to make it to the end, but i would like to think he would get to the last 3

i also really liked Chris Daughtry... im not a bon jovi fan, but i liked how he did this... he has the voice, the charisma and the stage movement to make it all the way...

and Ace Young has a great voice and has a look that lots of girls will vote for... and his choice of song was a good one for his voice...

i liked seeing Gedeon McKinney perform... i liked the song he sang... how do you NOT smile and feel good with that song? he really gets into what hes doing and its fun to watch

Bucky Covington has potential, but he really was pushing too hard with every note... he just needs to relax and trust his voice more

Will Makar reminded me more of donny osmond than a brady...

Jose Penala also has great potential... i think he just chose the wrong song...

Bobby Bennett... what can i say... he has a great smile and stage presence, but barry must be cringing...

David Radford does have a great voice for that sinatra/connick, jr style... but he needs to work on his comfort with movement on stage... and i would like to see him sing other styles...

Kevin Covais is adorable... a bit stiff with his moves as well... i wonder if he will warm up as time goes on... my hubby said kevin seems to be the 'best kid in the choir' type...

and honestly, now that its the next morning... i cant remember which songs Patrick or Elliot did... so, cant remember my impressions of them... i guess remembering 10 out of 12 isnt so bad

and to think that until the last couple of weeks last season, i thought american idol was just silly... now i am hooked

yikes, Sway sounds awful :P:wacko: HUH????? They liked him :o:O:O:O

I couldn't believe it either! I was cringing the whole time he was on stage. Bring it down an octave, buddy!

And Paris Bennet was really good too

My guy favorite was Chris D. I like Taylor too, but sometimes his movements can get a bit much, like he has some sort of uncontrollable tick. Elliot had the best voice, but unfortunately he's not much to look at, so I don't think he'll make it all the way...

I have to agree with ya'll... but i also liked the young girl who did the gladys knight song... can't remember her name...

PARIS BENNET

Did anybody else think Bucky was way off?

I didn't like bucky at all :P .....

Sway sounded awful and I was wondering what Randy and Paula were on when they said his performance was great

Yeah Copa Cobana Boy needs to go.... not sure how he got this far.... I heard much better singers then him in the auditions :unsure:

I like that Elliot Yamin guy, I am sure with a little makeover he will be nicer looking, he just needs his teeth fixed  He had a great voice though, I think the best out of all the guys... I do like TAylor Hicks though, he has got personialty coming out of his wazoo

I HATE with a capital H , hate ACE.... he is trying to be like COnstantine from last year with the goo goo eyes at the camera.. makes me sick :P

I really like this one....

of the 4 knocked out tonight, i think the only real surprise to me was patrick... i thought that 'come to my window' wasnt a great choice for him, but felt his voice was good enough to get him thru...

what will next week hold???
