I feel sorry for poor Elliott :( I always liked him! He has such a good voice, but I think his nerves and lack of confidence always brought him down. I hope he does well after the show!

My sister and I always called him "Mr. Tumnas" after the character in The Chronicles of Narnia, because he looks like the actor who played that character in the movie.

it's fixed. Chris will be a star even though he didn't win. This way the show has 2 winners. Chris and the 'real' winner = more money/promotion for the show.

I don't think it is fixed.

If you look at dial idol Taylor has consistently been on top. He has never been bottom 3. He is the clear winner.

If I had only voted more for elliot ... like I did last week... (sent like 20 messages)...

Anyhoo, I think he's got a lovely voice and Im pretty sure it wont be the last that we hear from him...

As for the two last contestants... Definitely Taylor, he has a connection with the audience (I think from being a club singer)... and Kat... well, I think she's lacking that chemistry with the audience...

Did you guys notice how many people in Taylor's and Elliot's hometowns, and how few fans for Kat??

Elliot is great too, and I am sure he'll nail a contract and be successful, 'cus he totally deserves it. Mcphee is a good singer indeed, but I wish Elliot was in the final instead of her.

But what matters is the SOUL PATROL will become the American Idol! :P

I had to miss the show due to my beloved working day shift and being home in the evenings. :(

Unfortunately, the man hates Idol.

I knew Taylor made it cuz I saw that Elliot got voted off, but I really really REALLY wanted to see the performances.

I checked out the website MarilynP posted on p114 here so I could at least hear the songs and I was thrilled to see the video links posted too, when I went to the mp3 for Try a little tenderness.

Gotta add a bit of brag here. Wayyyy back in this thread when some people were bashing Taylor, I pointed out that he was obviously channelling Joe Cocker even though some of the young'uns might not know that. Now admit it, was I right or was I right??

What I'd really like to see him do is Michael Mcdonald's In the Living Years.

Forgot to mention that if you go to rickey.org and click on Taylor's name at the right side, you can see all the videos.
