I am not a fan of Cris - he always sounds the same but i'm sure he did better than Kat last night... I like Kat - but last night was struggling - it is very weird... ;)

K-1 = 4 months

AOS = 5 months

I-751 = almost one year

Ok now my jaws back off the floor - #######!!!!! We voted for him, but maybe others thought he was safe and did not bother, it's happened before to others. I was so sorry for, talk about shellshocked and did you see Simons face!

The only thing I will add is, hubby mentioned last night that the radio reported a poll of 60,000 respondents and they said Katharine would win, Elliott second, and Taylor third.

I really hope this does not get proved right. Kat deserved to go last night, now I am split as I really like Taylor & Elliott :no:

what the heck? i totally missed the show! chris is gone? that's nuts!

i thought kat was gone for sure... ugh... :angry:

i am hoping this means it will be taylor and elliott in the final 2. sorry but kat has been sucky lately and its about time a guy won again.

To be honest I did not think much of the show... and that Paula Abdul acting like a btcih on heat... she makes me feel ill... how can someone who made such awful noise (cannot call it music) be a judge?

Ah well I ain't wasting another evening on this stupid show... watching an over-sexed bimbo cavort :devil:

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT

We are a day behind here in Germany, on the Armed forces Network tv. To say Im in shock is an understatement, please tell me what your saying isn't true. I cant belive that SUPER talented Chris, has been kicked off Idol. Damn I wish we could of voted from over here. Oh well, Taylor is gunna win it now. and ya know what, Chris WILL get a record deal anyways, and the company that does get him, is getting a star :star:

10/22/2007 Filed I-130 x 2 in person + paid 710 USD (355 each )

10/22/2007 Filed DS-230 part 1 x 2

10/22/2007 Received the document checklist and FRN (case) numbers

12/18/2007 I-130 petition approved, but I didn't know. I was away at the time, didn't get confirmation letters til I got back from the states.

12/20/2007 Notice of Approval arrives in tha mail. According to the date received stamp on back of envelope at my post box.

Will now wait til hubby is back from Iraq to fax in checklist readiness, even though, I have been ready since day of lodging I-130's. all except medical.

02/18/2008 Faxed the "checklist" back to the consulate.

02/25/2008 Medicals completed.

02/25/2008 Appt letters in mail for appt on March 7th. Cant go due to prior military commitments. Emailed consulate and received an amended appt date of March 12th 2008.

03/12/2008 Visa interview - APPROVED x 2

03/27/2008 Visa's finally generated. I emailed the consulate. they apologised for the delay. They forgot to issue the visas after approval.

03/31/2008 Received visas

04/26/2008 Flying out of Frankfurt to next duty station on orders.

Yes I was too. I thought it was Kat for sure last night. It will be interesting now to see how the rest of the show plays out.

The judges seem to know just what to do and say to influence the public, and it sure worked last night.
