Received my card today in the mail - 9 days since interview.

Just a thought though - the card has the same photograph on that my EAD card had - so what do they do with the photos that you have to submit with the application? :unsure:

Just wondered about that, no big deal just something I wondered about.

08/15/08 I-751 submitted to VSC

10/01/08 Biometrics completed

03/02/09 Case transferred to CSC

04/04/2009 Received approval letter

03/31/2009 Date of Decision

05/01/2009 Card production ordered

05/07/2009 Received card

The photo on my EAD and also my resident card are the photos that were taken at biometrics appointment and not the ones that were submitted with the forms.

Another of lifes mysteries huh? :lol::lol::lol:

04/04/2009 Received approval letter

03/31/2009 Date of Decision

05/01/2009 Card production ordered

Actually, now you've made me think again. I'm going to have to check my husband's cards when I get home. It's quite possible he was wearing the same shirt both days though! :lol:

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Your submitted photos probably stay with the file. Biometrics are official ones. And then when they look at you, biometrics photo, and submitted ones, I'm guessing that any rational govt goon should be able to figure out that it really is YOU.
