Biometrics appointment

I just received my biometrics appointment and unfortunately the date chosen is when I will be out of town. I was wondering if anyone had any experience rescheduling the appointment and how long it takes to get the second appointment.

mine experience was little different on my appoint. date their systems were down that was friday and i went there next monday without rescheduling, but better do as they say in the letter and reschedule as soon as you can, im sure it'll be just fine ... good luck

Also wondering if a walk-in might work. My office is in Denver and they specifically say they don't do walk-ins but I've read from other people that they have done walk-ins before.

I would try a walk-in ASAP and explain the situation and see if they'll let you do it on the spot. If not, follow the directions on the letter immediately to reschedule but be prepared for the possibility that it might drag out your case.

The standard policy is that all offices don't accept walk-ins, but some actually do in practice. I'd certainly try that first to avoid any delays in your case.

I will do a walk-in tomorrow and if they won't do it on the spot I will just reschedule.
