Got our interview apt letter today, dec. 20th, no chance of moving that up eh :P

Question tho, it says we must need to bring evidence of support unless already provided along with evidence of vacination and a medical in a sealed envelop unless already provided. Does the medical submitted for our K1 count as already submitted? And we already submitted evidence of support in the AOS package does that count as well? Any help would be appreciated

I don't really know about the medical... I would think that was enough but i am not sure.

As far as the evidence of support I would probably bring it just in case, you never know if they can lose your papers right before the interview or something :hehe: better safe than sorry!

Honestly not sure what's going on with my case right now.

We got transferred to CSC on 11/15 and got the receipt notice at CSC yesterday.

However, we got a notice from the EAD saying that a notice from /that/ was returned as undeliverable.

We called to correct the address and get it re-sent, but I'm worried that it's our biometrics since we haven't gotten one yet.

Does anyone know if biometrics is attached to the AOS or the EAD or what?

Also, totally confused on how the NOA1s (all three), and the transfer notice all got to us with no problem, but something /else/ failed to get to us. Kata thinks that they probably printed/put it in the envelope wrong or something and the post office couldn't read it.

Bleh.

TwoCats, I doubt they were sending you the EAD cause the I-765 and I-485 strictly depend on the biometrics. Without them you can't be approved yet so probably It was the bio appointment letter. Did you try calling USCIS?

Yeah, unhelpful as ever.

We gave them our address, which was right on all the NOAs, and they're supposed to re-send it.

But if it's the biometrics, it'll probably be too late and we'll have to reschedule.

Hi all! Haven't checked in on here for a while.

I had my biometrics done on Oct 28th and still haven't heard anything. Desperate to be able to work like a lot of others on here.

How many cases generally get interviews? I thought most K1 applicants don't get them?

And what does getting transferred to CSC mean? Do most people get transferred?

Hoping the holiday weekend doesn't mean the offices are slacking off too much!

We filed our AOS paperwork at the end of September, got our first notice on October 3rd. We waited and waited for the biometics appointment. Ended up called after 30 days, they told us if we hadn't heard anything in 2 weeks to call back. Finally got the notice that the biometrics appointment is on December 7th!!! Cannot believe how incredibly slow this is. At this rate his interview will be in October of next year. Very frustrating. My husband would like to actually start working and help me out by earning some money.
