Congratulations..

I called USCIS and asked for an update since it was outside of processing time. I thought processing windows is 6 months..

I was told that I am still within the processing time and won't provide any updates. It appeared the customer rep was just reading straight out of guideline. I thought I was talking to a robot.

Does anyone know how to look up the processing window for California service center? I applied in Oct 2011. Any information is great appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear you've been waiting so long. You can't look up the CSC processing time for family-based AOS on the USCIS website because they don't provide it. If you call the information line they will tell you whether you are within current processing times based on your local office's processing time, even though your local office has nothing to do with your case if it has been transferred to CSC. Your best bet is to contact your representative. They can contact CSC directly and if your case has been there for over 6 months they can request your file be pulled. Once it is pulled it will be processed within days. This is what worked for me and many others in the same situation. Good luck!
