I think it went well. The officer said that they needed to review our file and we should hear a response within 2 weeks. B-)

Congrats! Hopefully you get a response very soon :)

I'm starting to feel like we are the only ones left... it's getting very depressing. Colin got his EAD and started working the next day. He works nights and I work days. It's really difficult. I've had a string of really bad luck the last couple years. I'm dreading a denial now. Getting his green card would really put my mind at ease. And it might make sleeping alone again a little easier.

Hi LoriT, I know how you feel, I want my green card so I am done with it too, but try not to worry about it too much. They wouldn't have transferred your husband's case if it wasn't straightforward. Only October people who were interviewed are getting their green cards, people who are transferred for "faster" processing are all still waiting. A lot of people who applied in August and September are still waiting for their green cards.

That helps a little. Now I wish we would have had an interview.

It's definitely going to be 4 months from transfer. So it looks like it's going to be April instead of February. At least Colin is working now though. It's still frustrating because there is always that "what if it's denied" thought going through my head. He comes here, we get married, settle down very happily, he gets a job, life is looking ok then BAM!!! sorry, you're denied. It's my worst nightmare. We used all of our savings applying for the K-1, AOS, plane tickets, etc. He would have to go back to England. I don't think I could survive that.
