I WISH I was getting some texts - my case didn't get transferred until the end of December when my EAD got approved, which means I could be in for a long wait for the GC.

We are right there with you Lainie. Colin got his EAD card on Monday. We were transferred to the CSC in mid-December. We aren't expecting to hear anything until at least April about his GC. At least he can start working now though.

LoriT and GnBnL - at least I'm not the only one! I still haven't been able to figure out if they will process in CSC according to the original file date or the day it was transferred, hopefully for us the former!

Hi Lainie B,

I'm not sure if you saw it but I started a thread asking when did the 4 month waiting time at CSC begin. The replies I got seemed to point to the idea that it starts from the date you filed/NOA date. I really hope this is the case and you ladies get approval VERY soon! :)

Naturalization Journey (Based on 5 years as a PR):

November 21st 2016 - Sent N-400 to Dallas Lockbox.

November 30th - Check Cashed.

December 1st - Email/Text Notifications.

December 8th - Hardcopy of NOA received (Priority Date 11/25).

December 9th - Biometrics Appointment Letter received.

December 19th - Biometrics Appointment.

January 4th 2017 - "In Line" for Interview.

June 9th - Online status changed to "Interview was Scheduled".

June 12th - Interview Letter received.

July 19th - Interview (NYC). Requested a "delayed Oath" for after September 4th 2017.

September 11th - Oath Letter received. Honored my request for a delayed Oath Ceremony.

September 14th - Oath Ceremony.

Hi EV11,

I did watch that thread, but still wasn't sure. I don't think anyone really knows what goes on behind the walls of CSC. I really do hope it's from the NOA1 date. I guess we will find out. It will be interesting to compare the waiting times of early-transfers and late-transfers.

Oh and LoriT - congrats on your husband's EAD! Finally!

Hi guys,

I have had my interview on Jan 11 and got request for evidence and I sent that right when I got home. The guy who interviewed us said that once we sent him the things asked for then he will approve it. However, I haven't heard anything since then and when I call USCIS, I don't get to customer service. It is just a touch tone call the whole time. What # do I call, where I can talk to someone about the pending case?

I think it went well. The officer said that they needed to review our file and we should hear a response within 2 weeks. B-)
